I haven't posted since APRIL! That tells you how often I actually think about my blog, huh? I've decided that I should try and put forth a better effort and write at least once every two weeks. This may not work out, but I'm giving it a shot.
Here is a picture of me at the Sears Tower Sky Box! I was able to go to Chicago for ALA this year and I had SO much fun. Not to mention I made off like a bandit and came home with 20 plus new books. Hey, I'm a bookworm so it all works out.
Surprisingly I wasn't scared of the view from the 108th floor. I was really surprised at how much I love traveling. I think it is going to be a new goal of mine to go to every state in the US. Next I'm thinking Washington (the state not DC). I hear that the coast is beautiful and I love the rain.

I really suck at this...
It has been a LONG time since I last updated my little blog. I did have a feeling that I would have a hard time with this. But the good news is I'm nearing the end of the spring semester so hopefully I'll get better at this.
I was able to go through the Ogden Temple on my sisters birthday. It was amazing! I'm glad my sister was willing to share her day with me. The sisters at the temple take really good care of you and make sure you are comfortable. The funny thing is my friend Lina went through the same day I did. Then I was able to go and see her get sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She looked amazing! Then I saw all of my FHL friends at her reception. It had been a while and it was fun to sit and talk for a while.

I miss my friends.
Last night I went out to eat at yummy Cafe Rio with my friends and I really miss them. It was me, Nicole, Carmen (with Brianne), Kim, and Lina. It was kind of a last hoorah before miss Lina gets married next month and it was loads of fun. It was good to sit and talk about everything and catch up. If only we could all work together again... that would be great. We wouldn't get much done because we'd talk all the time, but still fun. ;) Love you girls!!

It's MY car!
I love my car. I have a very cute PT Cruiser and have enjoyed it for a year. I've noticed something that has been bothering me... everyone is getting MY car!!! When I first started driving it, no one had PT Cruisers and now I see at least 3 driving from work to home (which is 5 minutes away). Okay people, stop buying my car! I wish to have the unique car that I used to.. hey at least they are different colors than mine.
Another random thought about cars. I've realized I gave mine a name. When I need to make it up a snowy hill or get up to speed on the freeway, I call my car Betsy. I've caught myself saying 'come on Betsy!'. What would you name your car?

sick of snow..
Ok, I do like winter but as of right now I am completely sick of it! I am the only person who lives at my house that hasn't biffed it on ice. My mom and brother fell the same day shoveling or scraping some sort of frozen water off of the driveway. I really do love winter but now it's hurting my family and that's not good. Plus I miss being warm.... ahh........ warm. Right now my toes resemble ice cubes and I need two blankets to stay warm.
Ah, done ranting. Surprisingly I feel much better.. cold.. but better :)

Don't know how long this will last...
I'm not much of a blogger but I thought I'd give it a try.
This week has been crazy! My dad fell down some stairs and fractured two vertebrae in his back. It was so scary seeing him being wheeled out of the ambulance. He was in the ER for about 4 hours before they said he could leave. It could have been a lot worse and I am grateful that he is doing better now. So far today he hasn't had to take more than one painkiller.
Anyway, this is the end of my first post. Pretty proud that I am giving it a try.
